Construction products: DoP, EPD and Taxonomy
Check a Declaration of Performance, assemble an EN 15804+A2 package and screen the Taxonomy criterion.

Check a Declaration of Performance, assemble an EN 15804+A2 package and screen the Taxonomy criterion.
Declaration of Performance readiness
Readiness applies the AVCP-system mapping rather than asking for a notified body indiscriminately: some systems need one for the performance, some for factory production control, some for both, and one for neither.
The check covers the harmonised standard, the DoP number, the CE marking date, intended use, plant, essential characteristics with their test standards, fire class, service life, maintenance, deconstruction and reuse, and the dangerous-substances declaration - each finding naming its clause.
Recording the DoP is refused while a blocking element is missing, because a Declaration of Performance is a legal document the manufacturer issues. The platform records what was declared; it does not sign.
The EPD data package
The package builds the module-by-indicator matrix from the values you declared and applies the checks the standard itself makes: total global warming potential must equal the fossil, biogenic and land-use parts; every declared module carries the core indicator set; a declared unit or functional unit is mandatory; a unit that contradicts the indicator is reported rather than converted; and a module beyond the product stage without a documented scenario is flagged.
Two habits of real EPD tables are handled: values written with a decimal comma or a trailing unit are parsed on the leading number, and 'not declared' is kept apart from zero. A not-declared indicator is a statement and is reported as such - it is never treated as a zero. Biogenic carbon storage is shown on its own line and never netted into a headline.
Taxonomy screening
The screening evaluates the technical criterion the platform can actually assess - the global warming potential of the assessed application per square metre against a versioned reference value - and records the environmental objectives it was given plus the minimum-safeguards statement.
Counts are reported over assessed criteria only, so a criterion nobody assessed cannot inflate the result into a fabricated perfect score. The verdict is aligned, partially assessed, not assessed or not aligned, and the building-level figure is never derived from a product-stage number divided by a floor area.
BIM parameters
The export produces the parameters a model needs - property-set entries and shared parameters such as manufacturer, product reference, global warming potential, fire rating, classification, DoP number, EPD registration and the passport URL - plus the object link and level of detail, and it names what a model would not be able to resolve.
The platform exports parameters and object references. It does not generate geometry and does not read a model back.
Issuing and the public summary
Issuing stores an immutable artifact. A partial EPD package can be issued deliberately, because an EPD in preparation is a real workflow - and the artifact records how partial it was. A package with no declared module values is refused with the missing inputs.
The public passport serves the reader's summary from the redacted payload.
Screen-by-screen reference
These pages were checked in the organization console on 8 October 2026 using an isolated sample organization. Controls can differ by role, plan, record state and configured providers. Each page below explains its purpose, a practical workflow, the visible controls and what to verify afterward.
Construction product analysis (/construction)
This page brings the CPR product record, Declaration of Performance readiness, EN 15804+A2 EPD matrix, taxonomy screening and BIM exports together.
Load a construction passport and work through product declaration, DoP readiness, EPD modules, taxonomy criteria, and BIM outputs in order. A blank module or unassessed DNSH criterion is a gap to investigate, not evidence of success. Check units, module boundaries, AVCP route, and notified-body needs before issuing or exporting a declaration.
A missing or unassessed criterion is not a passing criterion.
Controls and options
- Choose a passport and Show to load its construction data and missing inputs.
- Review AVCP and notified-body requirements before issuing a DoP.
- Inspect EPD modules, indicators, units, ND values and GWP decomposition before issuing an EPD.
- Read Taxonomy DNSH coverage over assessed criteria and export BIM parameters only after checking the source fields.
