Export your data: CSV reports, CSRD summary, audit chain and AAS
What each export contains, who can download it, and which export to use for a regulator, an auditor or sustainability reporting.
DPP Shield editorial team · Updated:
Download CSV exports of products, passports, regulator summaries, document registers, the audit log and a CSRD-style portfolio summary from the console or with an API key that has exports:read. The audit chain can also be exported as NDJSON, and each passport as an Asset Administration Shell.
CSV exports
The export buttons on the dashboard and in Administration download these files; through the API they are GET /exports/<file> with the exports:read scope. Files are comma-separated with a header row.
Files
- products.csv - id, name, SKU, GTIN, category, brand and manufacturer country.
- dpps.csv - passport id, status, schema, current version, product, SKU, category and last update.
- regulator/dpps.csv - per passport: identity, status, version, publication date, manufacturer, latest compliance score and validation date, and the carbon footprint and recycled content declared in the current version.
- regulator/documents.csv - the document register: id, passport, type, title, access level, issue and expiry dates, expiry status and SHA-256 - never the file contents.
- audit-logs.csv (owners and administrators) - time, action, record, actor, and the before and after values.
- csrd.csv, downloaded as csrd-summary.csv (owners and administrators) - per category: products, passports, published, validated, average score, compliant share and the declared carbon footprint total.
The CSRD summary is an input, not a report
The CSRD summary aggregates what your passports declare. It is useful evidence for sustainability reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, but it is not an ESRS disclosure and nobody has assured it: carbon totals add up declared values and are only as good as the passports behind them.
Audit chain and verification
The audit log is a hash chain. Under Settings, Audit streams you can download it as NDJSON - 50,000 entries per file, continued with afterSeq - with each entry's sequence number and hashes, so a copy can be verified on its own. For continuous copies, stream it to a SIEM (Splunk HEC, Datadog or a signed HTTPS collector). The audit.chain_head webhook delivers a daily anchor to keep alongside.
Machine-readable passports
Each passport can be exported as an Asset Administration Shell (AAS V3 JSON) for digital twin registries, and published passports are readable as JSON through the public API. Lifecycle events stream as GS1 EPCIS 2.0 through EPCIS subscriptions.
Which export for whom
Match the export to the person asking for it.
Typical requests
- A market surveillance authority: regulator/dpps.csv and regulator/documents.csv, or a scoped regulator access grant.
- An auditor: audit-logs.csv or the NDJSON chain, plus the passport's audit package.
- A sustainability team: csrd-summary.csv, then the passports behind any figure that matters.
- An industrial partner or digital twin platform: the AAS export or the EPCIS stream.
